Photo and video have always been a means of escape for me. I would run off into the mountains with nothing more than my camera and some ambition.
I love capturing the narrative and telling that story rather the outlet be still imagery or a creative short film.
My work has been featured in various print publications including: Southern Living, Garden & Gun, Country Living, Blue Ridge Outdoors, & Blue Ridge Country. I have worked with a wide variety of businesses and organizations such as: Virginia Tourism Corporation, The Town of Abingdon, Virginia, The Town of Marion, Virginia, Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion, Bristol Motor Speedway, King University, and many small businesses.
I am a Southwest Virginia native having spent my life photographing and filming around the region. I started my career in creative content by freelancing in the tourism industry in 2018 until becoming a full time tourism professional as a Marketing and Events Manager for my current hometown.
I also enjoy learning and teaching through my YouTube channel called “Chadeveryday” where I teach marketing, photography, videography, and general insight about life.
